Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Cabinet collects and how it’s handled. We aim to collect little and be honest about what we can and can’t see. Cabinet is an early preview operated by an individual.

What we collect

• Account data: your email and, if you use Google sign-in, basic profile info from Google.
• Your content: the conversations, documents, and files you create, and the teammates you configure.
• Usage & billing: per-request token counts and costs, credit balance, and payment records (handled by Stripe — we never see your full card number).

How your content is used

To produce responses, your prompts and relevant context are sent to third-party AI providers (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google). We use these providers’ API tiers and, where available, enable options intended to prevent your data from being retained or used to train their models. Their handling of data is governed by their own terms.

What the operator can see — stated plainly

Your data is isolated per account at the database level. However, Cabinet does not yet encrypt message content at rest in a way that hides it from the operator. That means, in the course of running and debugging the service, the operator is technically able to access stored content. We don’t read your conversations as a matter of routine, and we don’t sell your data — but we won’t claim a privacy guarantee we haven’t built yet. End-to-end / at-rest content encryption is on the roadmap, and we’ll update this page when it ships.

What we don’t do

• We don’t sell your personal data or content.
• We don’t put message content in logs, analytics, or error reports.
• We don’t use your content to train our own models.

Retention & deletion

We keep your content while your account is active. You can delete conversations and files within the app. To delete your account and associated data, contact the operator at the email associated with your invite.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We don’t use third-party advertising trackers.

Changes

We’ll reflect material changes by updating the “last updated” date above.
